The Chamber Music Festival began in 2008 at the Homestake Opera House in Lead, SD. The mission was to bring world-class classical performers and audience friendly classical music to the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. The professional musicians of the Orlando Chamber Soloists are members of the Boston Pops Orchestra, New Jersey Symphony, Louisiana Philharmonic, Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Naples Philharmonic.

Their mission has been to

"To foster the appreciation of classical music in the Black Hills of South Dakota by presenting chamber music concerts by world-class musicians using exciting and innovative formats with an emphasis on developing a broad based sustainable audience through education and community involvement.

Our educational activities benefit the entire youth community. Our programs are designed to stimulate imagination, focus attention, build technical skills, and teach performance techniques valuable in any field.

It is our desire to foster community involvement by featuring local commerce and artists that tie into the theme of our concerts."
