John Irrera, Violinist
John Irrera has been dedicated to performing and teaching for most of his life. At the age of 23 he made his first debut in Carnegie Hall as the First Prize Winner of the American Protégé International Violin Competition. Since then he has taken top prizes in numerous national and international music competitions.
Joseph Irrera, Pianist
Joseph Irrera, a Steinway Artist, has made his way around the globe with his award-winning performances. At the age of 18 he made his debut at the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra performing Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto.
John and Joseph Irrera, celebrated solo artists, also perform exquisitely as a duo. These performances are particularly beautiful, as they illuminate that special connection between brothers. John and Joseph both hold Doctorate Degrees from the Eastman school of Music. After their dynamic Carnegie Hall debut in 2009, the brothers were invited back to perform in 2012 and 2013. This 2013 concert was reviewed by New York Concert Review Carnegie Hall as a
"...riveting dynamic performance"
